Mandan Activities & Care - 2012


Registration: First 125 students registered

Students will be accepted in the Summer MAC Program based on the following:

- Returning students who were in the MAC program during the previous summer (January 23 - February 24)

- Siblings of students who were in the MAC program during the previous summer (January 23 - February 24)

- Students new to MAC for the current school year (February 27)

- New students from the public waiting list (March 7)

Program Dates: May 29 – August 10, 2012

Program Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Program Location: Lewis & Clark Elementary, 600 NW 14th, Mandan

Program Eligibility: Entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade (city wide)

Tuition: $900.00 for the summer – No exceptions.
The program is $81.82 per week.
May be paid lump sum, monthly or three equal installments of $300.00 each.

This is an eleven (11) week program. Credit will not be given for vacations, absences, or during time attending other camps throughout the eleven (11) weeks. If you decide to leave the program early, you will be responsible for the full $900.00 tuition.

Deposit: A $115.00 non-refundable deposit is required for each child upon registration; $100.00 of the deposit will be applied towards your August installment, $15.00 will be applied to field trips.

This program operates as a full time licensed child care center and is open to all students entering first through sixth grades, in Public and Private Schools within the Mandan Public School District.

Childcare Assistance may be available through Morton County Social Services. Please contact their office at 667-3395 for more information.

Children enrolled in this program will take part in a variety of activities, field trips and other projects.

Children may also get involved in Mandan Park District sports programs & swimming lessons. Transportation to and from Mandan Parks activities and Title programs will be provided.

Meals will be provided: breakfast, lunch, and snack based on the dietary guidelines and nutrition standards of the USDA Child Nutrition Program.

Educational activities will be scheduled. The Bookmobile visits on a regular basis too! Remember to send your child’s library card information.

Students must be picked up by parents or designee at the end of the day. Transportation home will not be provided.

Enrollment is limited to 125 students.

Waiting list: There is currently a waiting list for new families to get into the MAC program. Those on the waiting list will be contacted the first week in March.
